FASHION IN ORBIT HIGHER EDUCATION COURSE

INSPIRATION, FASHION TECH & VISIONING FOR COMPANIES SUPPORTED BY ESA

The Higher Education Course FASHION IN ORBIT – created and led by the professors Annalisa Dominoni + Benedetto Quaquaro at POLI.design, the Consortium of Politecnico di Milano – was inspired by the project COUTURE IN ORBIT launched by the European Space Agency (ESA). This involved the School of Design, Politecnico di Milano, in the creation of a clothing collection that integrates Space technologies and innovative materials. The extraordinary results, which were presented at the London Science Museum, generated over 20 million media feedback responses and convinced us to build a new partnership with ESA, in order to inspire designers and companies to develop new ideas and create spin-offs.
